Out from the watery womb that hauntingly hides our most omnipresent truths and bliss comes our cunning and fickle messenger, Mercury! One at a time, the inner planets are emerging from the engulfing and alluring waters of the sirens into the purifying, initiatory flames of new and independent creation. There are waves of emergent themes crashing upon the shores of our minds that we must decipher and discern what to do with. Some will be brilliant and pivotal, others will be absurd and dubious, so we must be extremely vigilant in our process of elimination. To further compound the likelihood of proceeding prematurely or recklessly, illusory and confounding Neptune is waiting at the gates to greet our fearless chameleon. We would all do well to pause long and pensively before moving forward with any and every idea we might have.

The fierce dynamism of Mars has been incredibly stymied during its long, retrograde, and emotional tenancy in Cancer. While this has certainly shown us how to more actively and sincerely care for and nurture ourselves and other people, an undeniable itch has been impossible to scratch for months, and now we get to scratch it and rejoice in the ecstatic sensations of doing so. There is no doubt this ingress of Mars into Leo will fire up everyone and everything around the world, and we will see evidence of this as the days go by, but just as we needed to (and still need to) exercise patience and pause with Mercury’s ingress into Aries, we also need to apply a similar pause to Mars’s magnificent return to regal Leo. It is a fine line, however. We don’t want to avoid the magic of the bursting sparkles all around us, but we do have to be sure whatever magical avenue we choose to go truckin’ in style down is not fraught with peril and discord.
