Today could be a foot-in-mouth day, perhaps caused by some unchecked egoic pride or unsolicited advice given or taken. We might want to stay cool, go for a swim, or take a ride somewhere without a plan; the proverbial Sunday drive.

The foot-in-mouth potential may instead be more of a deep boundary crossed unintentionally. It could be a boundary we have built for ourselves that gets crossed due to someone ignoring their capacity to think before they speak or act. As is often the case in astrology, this could go the other way with ourselves crossing someone’s boundaries.

Keeping pride in check and allowing our emotions to be shared in safe spaces can bring some flowing unexpected beauty to our evening. We just have to be mindful that our sensitivities, which can be quite amplified today, are tempered by recognizing how purposeful people’s independence is to them.

If we were to choose a day to initiate something that has been percolating in the incubator, especially something that feels like a now or never kind of thing, today might be a good day to go for it. Though the T-square between Moon, Mercury, and Pluto can instill a great deal of emotional tension and rash action, they are all in the final degrees of the signs they are in, and they are all in cardinal signs, begging for initiation into something new and important to us. 

We should not discredit the inherent value of our instinctual drive to do what we love, within reason, of course. As mentioned above, this day is a powerful day to initiate something we have been wanting to do for some time. And exactly what that is should undoubtedly be rooted in what we love and what we cherish. Following our hearts is a profound understatement today.

Mars and Mercury ingressing Virgo and Leo respectively (while simultaneously aspecting Moon’s nodes) heralds copious potential to rise up, blow our horn, stomp our feet, and boogie into the next dimension of our lives. The changes may be subtle or grand, but we will most certainly acquire new footing on some type of new ground to traverse. There could be a clash within between our excitable and prudent natures, but it can serve us well if we allow them to compromise.

Our morning desires to indulge in the delicious, sensual, and beautiful things may face the prudence of our inner watchful eye that is keen to notice how far we escape into debauchery. But as the day flows on, such enjoyments might seem less noticed by that eye, exciting us to take chances and relish in the absolute wonderment of life. It is a lovely afternoon to tell someone how much you love them, so we should go for it if we are feeling that magic. 

We are in the thick of developing a potent clarity about how we wish to follow our dreams and fully express ourselves. As many of us are still working out the details of our personal visions for our futures, to a greater or lesser extent, we may experience powerful realizations that solidify just who we are and what we want to do from this point forward. Take heed of the messages that blow from bell towers to fog horns and across the great expanse today.

How exactly are we processing the pain of the past? How are we assessing the impact it has had upon our weary soul? Though there may be no purpose or lesson to be gained from some trauma, often there is. Aptly lending a hand to the morning’s Sun-Chiron square, Moon and Uranus applaud our efforts to enhance our personal worlds with ameliorated visions for the future. The metamorphosis that weaves its way in and out of our lives sometimes beckons us to embrace the magic it can bring. And magic indeed is how everything wonderful ever happens. Let’s tap the magic that sparks us today and embrace the love we bring.

How are we applying the knowledge we have to the life we live? How are we utilizing the wisdom of our years to bolster our will and determination to improve the life we live? These are the eyedrops that pour across our field of vision today. Where are we going? What have we learned? What can we do better? How do we do that? 

Sometimes in order to make improvements we need to notice why we haven’t improved yet. The subtle ghosts of habit and familiarity can seem less haunting than the void of change and growth. Those unknowns gather in the corners of our concerns and shake us back to what we trust and understand. How can we design our leap?

But today can, at the very least, teach us something valuable that we can tuck away until next week when Moon joins Mars in Virgo, which can usher in these lessons as healthy ideals we may be ready to manifest.

As we gather information and a better understanding of how to healthily move through and beyond the wounds of our inner child, we are blessed with incredible insight into how valuable our emotional processing has been for us. There may be conversations that run the gamut from exhausting memories of past pain to brilliant strokes of genius across the canvas of our minds. 

Settling for anything less than a pint of beautiful ideas would be blasphemy today, because we can deeply feel and intuit what will enlighten our beaten down world. It may be that we need to raise the standards we have for our inner security by setting boundaries. It may be that we choose to put down the burdens of our past and pick up the plow to sow new seeds of love and enlightenment. Whatever the case, keep a pen and paper close by today.

The perfection of today’s Moon-Venus-Neptune activation entices us to relish in the sanctity of friendship and socializing. While there may be mystery whispering in the wind, we are excited to gather, express, and dream a little dream we never thought we would dream with anyone we can inspirationally engage with today. These morning moments might be rather fleeting, but they set the scene of the painting on our easel today. 

The latter part of today waxes rather contemplative and carries us into the babbling brooks of our feelings, where we duck and weave over and around the inevitable rocks of curiosity. The ripples remind us once again that assessing our deepest desires for the essence of why we desire such things helps clarify the intention for reaching for that gold ring down inside. Though we may never reach it, we must try. 

Sometimes we have to trust in the disarray of our haphazard lives to get to the next level of the game. It may not be easy, but the destination is sighted through our spyglass and we feel beautiful dreams taking hold. As we venture toward Monday’s New Moon in Cancer, it would be ideal to sit down at the drafting table and design the dreams of our desires, not to make them perfect, but more nearly right than wrong.
